Appraisal Revalidation Audits |
In the maintaining good medical
practice section of Good Medical Practice (2006) the
GMC states that we should reflect regularly on your
standards of medical practice and take part in
regular and systematic audit.
Audits in practice may be personal, part of QoF or
done by others e.g. nursing staff or pharmacists
Information from audits can usefully be included in
the appraisal folder but only with a commentary on
the relevance of these to the individual GP
submitting them, and reflection on how this affected
practice or produced learning for the individual.
